Sally El Sawah is the Head of our Arbitration and Litigation Team, which has an extensive experience in dispute resolution and thus an unparalleled opportunity to advise our clients on their investment structuring, including strategic nationality planning, so that they can mitigate investment risk and benefit from the broadest substantive and procedural protections and tax incentives under Bilateral and Multilateral Investments Treaties and local legislations.
Our Arbitration and Litigation Team has deep knowledge and substantial expertise in handling complex matters of international arbitration, and cross-border litigation in the EMEA Region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Our goal is excellence and success. We have a robust track-record of winning international commercial and investment arbitrations and court judgments. We know for a fact that a dispute is a chapter in our Clients’ journey. Our focus is thus the dispute and beyond. We go beyond our Clients’ expectations to secure their long-term sustainable success and protect their interests, commercial relationships and reputation.
Junction is also involved in large scale PPP project development and project finance in the energy and infrastructure sector in Africa. Our Project Team is the first network dedicated to project development and project financing in Africa and assists States, EPC Contractors, Sponsors and DFIs during all stages of the project life. More specifically, our Project Team has a recognised expertise in the field of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), both in the establishment of sectoral frameworks favorable to PPP and in the definition / structuring of PPP projects. Our Project Team combines the necessary cultural understanding, legal expertise and business acumen to provide insightful analysis, industry knowledge, quality and innovative solutions for both private and public sector clients; and therefore to assist efficiently our Arbitration and Litigation Team.
Junction combines international expertise with local knowledge. Our lawyers are dual national and dual-qualified and have trained and practised within international law firms and multinationals.
