PAW 2024
PAW 2024 was the 8th edition of the Paris Arbitration Week and built remarkably on the momentum of previous years, further cementing PAW’s position as the world’s premier arbitration event.
The 2024 edition enjoyed the support of 104 paying and 85 non-paying partners from around the world and featured an impressive 187 events in five days! The events showcased a wealth of fascinating topics on international arbitration with world-class speakers, and attracted a significant number of participants from around the globe, reaching 25,000 registrations during the week.
In line with its commitments to diversity and inclusion – pillars of PAW – the PAW Board invited Florence Gravellier, a former Paralympic athlete, to kick off the week. Her inspiring keynote speech left a lasting impression on all listeners.
2024 also marked several important novelties: PAW was granted the high patronage of the Ministry of Justice and added the Cour d’Appel de Paris as a partner. The PAW Board introduced new and exciting events dedicated to sustainability, in-house counsel, and the #PAWGames to spotlight the Olympic Games held in Paris that summer.
