Presentation

La conférence est organisée par l'Association Française d'Arbitrage (AFA) et la direction scientifique est assurée par le Professeur Jérémy Jourdan-Marques. Son objectif est d'ouvrir un nouveau chapitre dans le débat relatif aux relations entre l'arbitrage et le droit de l'Union européenne. Les décisions majeures de la Cour de justice - Achmea, Komstroy, PL Holding, Micula et London SteamShip - invitent à réfléchir aux différentes voies par lesquelles le droit français pourra contribuer au maintien de Paris parmi les leaders mondiaux de l’arbitrage.

La conférence proposera trois tables rondes destinées à provoquer la discussion entre les panélistes et la salle :
-Renoncer - L'arbitrage et les personnes publiques : un combat perdu ?
-Tirer profit - Le contrôle de l'ordre public européen : enjeu majeur du renforcement de Paris, place d'arbitrage, dans la compétition mondiale ?
-Aller plus loin - L'arbitrage commercial doit-il être intégré un futur règlement de Bruxelles ?
