Presentation
The Association for Innovative Practices in Arbitration (AIPA) brings together users and practitioners of arbitration in a global forum dedicated to the development and improvement of international arbitration.
AIPA is comprised of experienced users and practitioners discussing how to improve the treatment of technical issues in arbitration. It led to the publication of the Rules on Technical Assistance in International Arbitration, on June 2022.
The group expanded overtime and decided to continue working on topics of interest, with a specific focus on concerns raised by users and practitioners, and innovations needed to address those concerns, so that arbitration remains the preferred dispute resolution mechanism internationally.
AIPA now includes members from all around the world, including users (in-house counsel), arbitrators, practitioners, and experts, representative of the main legal traditions globally.
Its mission is to serve as a platform for international arbitration users and practitioners to reflect on and develop innovative approaches to procedural and substantive issues. AIPA aims to foster a vigorous dialogue within the arbitration community, addressing critical concerns and pioneering innovative practices and methodologies in international arbitration, through working groups covering specific topics of interest identified by AIPA members.
Members of AIPA’s existing working groups, which deal with case management in international arbitration, quantum and the treatment of delays in large-scale infrastructure projects, will report on their work and path forward.

<p>The Association for Innovative Practices in Arbitration (AIPA) brings together users and practitioners of arbitration in a global forum dedicated to the development and improvement of international arbitration.</p>\n
<p>AIPA is comprised of experienced users and practitioners discussing how to improve the treatment of technical issues in arbitration. It led to the publication of the Rules on Technical Assistance in International Arbitration, on June 2022.</p>\n
<p>The group expanded overtime and decided to continue working on topics of interest, with a specific focus on concerns raised by users and practitioners, and innovations needed to address those concerns, so that arbitration remains the preferred dispute resolution mechanism internationally.</p>\n
<p>AIPA now includes members from all around the world, including users (in-house counsel), arbitrators, practitioners, and experts, representative of the main legal traditions globally.</p>\n
