What does responsible business look like in areas affected by war or similar challenges? Some businesses choose to remain in conflict zones, driven by obligations such as commitments to their employees and the necessity of providing essential goods and services. Others may be forced to leave, as staying may have unwanted consequences, including implication in human rights breaches and sanctions risks. Our speakers will discuss the complexities of operating in these regions, including moral and human rights considerations, responsible business practices, and the role of arbitration once the decision has been made.
