About us

CEIA MUJERES es una Comisión de MUJERES del CEIA. El objeto de esta Comisión es incrementar la visibilidad de las mujeres en el arbitraje y mejorar su perfil y representación.

Para el desarrollo de estos objetivos, la Comisión nace con vocación de abordar, entre otras, las siguientes actividades:

Dado que el CEIA es firmante del llamado Pledge in Equal Representation in Arbitration, competerá a la Comisión hacer seguimiento de los compromisos adquiridos por el Club para promover la igualdad de oportunidades en el arbitraje y coadyuvar a su cumplimiento, manifestado especialmente en (i) la designación de árbitros y peritos; (ii) la elección de ponentes en conferencias y otros foros; y (iii) el nombramiento de representantes en los órganos de gobierno, capítulos y comisiones del Club.
La Comisión creará un programa de mentoring en el que se fomente que los socios del CEIA con más antigüedad y experiencia presten su apoyo y guía a mujeres jóvenes en el desarrollo de su práctica arbitral.

La Comisión realizará actividades encaminadas a mejorar el conocimiento del arbitraje entre las mujeres activas en el entorno económico y empresarial, para lo cual entre otras actuaciones podrá organizar entrevistas informativas con ellas y podrá participar o colaborar en sus foros o reuniones.
