About us

The Netherlands Arbitration Institute Foundation (NAI) is a foundation established under Dutch law. The NAI facilitates and promotes dispute resolution through arbitration, mediation and binding advice. The NAI is a leading arbitration institute and operates at the top of the market. With a total amount in dispute reaching €4 billion, the NAI demonstrates its ability to administer complex and high-stakes proceedings. The fact that more than half of the new cases are in English and about half include a non-Dutch party shows that the NAI is often used for resolving international disputes. The balanced gender representation among arbitrators highlights our support for diversity and inclusivity. The NAI team consists of (legal) professionals. The NAI offices are located in Rotterdam. The fact that more than half of the new cases are in English and about half include a non-Dutch party shows that the NAI is often used for resolving international disputes.
