Presentation
The Cercle des Avocats du Secteur Défense (CASD), a French professional organisation of lawyers with expertise in matters related to the defense industry, and AA40, the Italian below40 Arbitration Association, are glad to invite you to a conference hosted by Freshfields LLP Paris office, to discuss the pratice of commercial arbitration in the fast-growing defense industry.
As defense budgets expand and cross-border cooperation intensifies, disputes in the industry raise increasingly complex challenges. The conference will bring together leading practitioners from across Europe to address a broad range of issues, including government-to-government cooperation, security-related considerations with regard to the drafting of the arbitration clauses, confidentiality in arbitral proceedings, and the recent revision of NATO's arbitration clause.
The panel will be moderated by Anne-Lise Ménagé (Senior Associate, Freshfields Paris) and Maddalena Durazzo (Associate, CastaldiPartners, AA40) and will include:
