Presentation
This breakfast roundtable will explore how conservatism in tribunal reasoning, particularly in energy and mining disputes, can shape outcomes in ways that are either justified or distortive. Anchored by Ankura experts, the discussion will move away from a traditional panel format and instead foster an interactive, discussion-led exchange around recent tribunal reasoning, counterfactual analysis in regulated markets, and the tension between operational realities and valuation outcomes. Senior practitioners will act as discussion catalysts, sharing practical experience and engaging participants in an open, candid conversation around the table.
