In today's context of deepening international cooperation and cross-border integration, efficient and reliable dispute resolution mechanisms stand as a cornerstone for maintaining the smooth circulation of the global economy. The China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) cordially invites global leaders from the legal and business communities to gather for a professional symposium under the theme "Arbitration along the Belt and Road: An East-West Dialogue on Comparative Insights and Future Synergies" This event is not only a profound convergence of cutting-edge arbitration perspectives but also a collaborative exploration toward the future development of international arbitration.
This event aims to build a robust bridge for legal dialogue between the East and the West, delving deeply into the shared foundations of arbitration philosophy, rules, and practices across the two major legal traditions, while sparking innovative thinking in institutional design and practical approaches. Against the backdrop of the Belt and Road Initiative, which continues to deepen the landscape of global connectivity, the East and the West—as representative forces of distinct civilizations and global economic development—bring together the collective wisdom of arbitration experts. Their exchange holds critical strategic significance for shaping a more adaptive, inclusive, and efficient international arbitration ecosystem.
