Ordinary Arbitration Proceedings before the Court of Arbitration for Sport

The Court of Arbitration for Sport ("CAS") is known as the independent judicial authority for sports disputes, handling appeals between sports federations, organisations and athletes, and disputes during major sporting events such as the Olympic Games.

In addition to the above procedures, the CAS also offers ‘ordinary arbitration’ proceedings. These include contractual disputes whereby parties mutually agree to submit to the CAS.

This CAS event will focus on Ordinary Arbitration proceedings in view of commercial arbitration, looking closer at the differences and similarities.
