This session will explore whether there is a gap between “bankable” disputes clauses and the reality of construction projects in Africa. Our expert panel will cover the key issues, ranging from lender access and influence under direct agreements and step-in mechanisms, to cash-flow protection, nonstandard dispute clauses, and the impact of sovereign risk and political interference.
