Panel will examine why the future of international dispute resolution will likely be a combination of international arbitration and mediation and what that will look like. Surveys have shown that international arbitration remains the favored method for resolving cross-border disputes but there is a growing preference for combining arbitration with other ADR forms. Using an ARB-MED approach enables participants to combine the attributes they seek in both dispute resolution mechanisms.
