Anna KOZMENKO

Dr. Anna Kozmenko is a Partner at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP and a highly experienced disputes lawyer recognised by leading legal directories as one of the top international lawyers of her generation. She represents sovereigns, state entities and private clients in high-profile international disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
Having practised in Russia, France, the United States and Switzerland, Dr. Kozmenko has extensive experience in both civil and common law systems. Her work covers complex litigations as well as commercial, investment and sports arbitration proceedings.
Dr. Kozmenko has acted as counsel and arbitrator in more than 100 arbitrations conducted under a broad range of institutional rules, including those of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC), German Arbitration Institute (DIS), International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICAC), American Arbitration Association / International Centre for Dispute Resolution (AAA/ICDR), UNCITRAL, Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), ICSID Additional Facility and Swiss Rules, as well as ad hoc arbitrations under the UNCITRAL Rules.
Her practice focuses on complex multi-jurisdictional disputes and arbitration strategy, with particular expertise in natural resources, energy, telecommunications, construction, engineering and sports. In addition to appearing before arbitral tribunals and acting as arbitrator, Dr. Kozmenko advises clients on all arbitration-related matters, including strategic and pre-arbitration risk assessments, investment treaty planning, and enforcement and set-aside proceedings before the Swiss Federal Supreme Court.
Dr. Kozmenko regularly publishes, speaks and teaches on international dispute resolution at leading universities worldwide.
She is a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and is actively involved in the global arbitration community.
