Diana Bayzakova is director of the Tashkent International Arbitration Centre, the arbitral institution delivering zeroadmin- fee, state-of-the-art arbitration services under a unique conflict-free operational framework. As a multilingual dispute resolution expert, Diana acted as the sole arbitrator on a panel of arbitrators and as counsel in international arbitral proceedings under a variety of arbitration rules (DIAC, DIFC-LCIA, ICC, SCC, ADCCAC and others) and is the only arbitration practitioner from Uzbekistan ranked by The Legal 500 in its Arbitration Powerlist: CIS and Caucasus. She is the founder of the Nikonov Tech Moot, a forum where students, academics, arbitrators and legal practitioners in the field of advanced technologies meet, plead and network. In 2020, Diana was appointed to the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators.

Diana is a friend of the Soft Law project. In 2024, she gave the issue’s tone-setting interview and became the cover person. Thanks to Diana, Uzbekistan was presented as the cultural theme of the second issue.

In the international issue 2025/26, Diana is one of the key contributors, opening for readers the section dedicated to Uzbekistan.
