Dr Maria FANOU

Dr Maria Fanou is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in International Dispute Resolution, a member of the School of International Arbitration at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), and a member of the Athens Bar (Dikigoros). She is the Director of the Comparative and International Dispute Resolution LLM Programme in London and the Acting Director of the Paris LLM Programme. Prior to joining QMUL, Maria was a Référendaire at the Court of Justice of the European Union, and has also gained practical experience in dispute resolution in private practice in Athens, Brussels, and Paris. Currently, she is also an Associate Editor of the Kluwer Arbitration Blog overseeing Europe coverage and Investment Arbitration coverage.
