Dr. Fan Yang is a leading Counsel, Arbitrator, Mediator, and Adjudicator with over 20 years of international experience, specialising in technology, energy, construction and complex commercial disputes. A Barrister of England and Wales and Founder of both the International Dispute Resolution Academy (IDRA), and the International Dispute Resolution Chambers (IDRC), she has held senior roles at global firms and served as in-house counsel for a major global infrastructure contractor.

Dr. Yang is uniquely positioned as a FIDIC Certified Adjudicator (FIDIC President’s List) and an Approved Faculty Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and NEC APAC Tutor. Her multi-jurisdictional practice spans the APAC region, where she manages complex parallel proceedings and advises on high-value complex commercial contracts. A listed arbitrator for HKIAC and BIAC and many other leading arbitration institutions, she combines academic rigor—holding a PhD in Law—with practical project management as an NEC Accredited Manager. Fluent in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese, Dr. Yang brings a sophisticated, cross-cultural perspective to the world's most challenging commercial disputes.
