Partner

Flore Poloni is a partner in the dispute resolution group at Bird & Bird in Paris. She has extensive experience advising companies and public entities on complex cross-border disputes, with a strong focus on international arbitration.

Her practice covers high-stakes arbitration proceedings across strategic sectors including energy, defence, life sciences and logistics, often in connection with projects in Africa. Flore acts both as counsel and as arbitrator, giving her a well-rounded and pragmatic perspective on dispute resolution.
She regularly advises on disputes arising from commercial agreements, corporate transactions and shareholder arrangements, including cases involving geopolitical and regulatory issues such as sanctions and force majeure. With a background combining private practice, litigation and in-house claims management, Flore brings a commercially focused approach to arbitration strategy, enforcement and asset recovery, as well as to the coordination of parallel proceedings across jurisdictions.

Beyond her casework, Flore is actively involved in the arbitration community. She is a co-founder of Paris Very Young Arbitration Practitioners and co-chairs the LCIA Young International Arbitration Group (LCIA-YIAG), promoting diversity, inclusion and best practices in international arbitration.
