Flore POLONI
Based in Paris, I have significant experience representing parties in international arbitration proceedings in the defense, logistics and energy sectors, handling disputes worth hundreds of millions of euros. I also sit as an arbitrator.
📍 I regularly act in shareholder or post-acquisition disputes for private-equity firms and more generally in the scope of the termination of agreements related to changes in economic (e.g. force majeure allegations) or legal (in particular, sanctions) circumstances for industrial clients. I have notable experience in the defense and energy sectors (LNG and nuclear) and have recently assisted several companies in disputes resulting from the termination of agreements related to major IT projects (ERP deployment, IT outsourcing).
📍I have a pragmatic approach to arbitration as I have been on secondment with a client’s claim management team, and am a business and finance graduate on top of my law degree.
My procedural management skills are a valuable asset in expedited proceedings, as well as in time-sensitive disputes where a quick resolution is desired.
📍I have solid experience in the enforcement of arbitral awards in France including seizing assets.

👩🏫As a dedicated member of the arbitration community, I co-founded the Paris Very Young Arbitration Practitioners in 2012 giving all junior lawyers an opportunity to showcase their talent. The group was the first of its kind to bridge the gap between the different generations of arbitration practitioners and helped many lawyers pierce the glass ceiling. In my role as co-chair of the LCIA-YIAG (Young International Arbitration Group of the London Court of International Arbitration), I have welcomed young associates to a variety of events giving them the platform to speak on what should be the best practices for the proceedings of tomorrow.
