Florian QUINTARD

Florian is a partner at Pinsent Masons and heads the Construction and Arbitration Department of our Paris office.

He advises clients on international arbitration and dispute resolution. His arbitration experience over the past 13 years includes construction and energy arbitrations (including several mega-arbitrations in the nuclear and infrastructure industries), investment treaty arbitrations (representing both states and investors) and commercial arbitrations.

Florian is dually qualified in France and England (Avocat au Barreau de Paris and Solicitor in England & Wales). He is an International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitration specialist, but he is also sat as arbitrator in cases under the aegis of the London Court of International Arbitration.

His practice focuses on disputes in the energy and construction sectors. Florian is the only lawyer in Paris to have been listed in 2022 as an "Expert/Rising Star" in the Construction sector by the IFLR Expert Guide.

He has also been involved in the negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements, including with state parties. Florian has also represented parties in various out-of-court proceedings, including mediation, ICC-administered expertise and Dispute Boards.

Prior to joining Pinsent Masons in 2017, Florian spent 8 years in White & Case's international arbitration team in Paris, and 2 years in the London and Abu Dhabi offices of Allen & Overy.
