Giuditta Cordero-Moss, Dr. juris (Oslo), PhD (Moscow), is Professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Oslo, where she teaches International Commercial Law, Private International Law, Comparative Law and Norwegian Law of Obligations.

An originally Italian lawyer, she was a corporate lawyer for years before joining academia, where she researches the issues that she had met in her practice and meets as an arbitrator.

In 2025, Cordero-Moss was designated by the Government of the Kingdom of Norway for the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators (2025-2031). Since 2022, she has been included in the EU pool of individuals suitable for appointment for the position of Chairperson for Arbitrations for trade and sustainable development (TSD) experts in bilateral disputes under trade agreements between the EU and third countries. She has been Judge (2007-2020) and President (2017-20) at Administrative Tribunal of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, co-director of the Academy’s Centre for Studies and Research on arbitration and the applicable law (2021), and is currently a member of the ICANN IRP Standing Panel (2024-2029)

She publishes in Norway and internationally and is often invited to lecture internationally, holding lectures, among others, at the Hague Academy of International Law in 2014, and was appointed to hold the General Course at the Hague Academy of International Law in 2027.
