Javier ECHEVERRI

Javier Echeverri is a Colombian lawyer and an Avocat à la Cour registered with the Paris Bar, with over a decade of experience in international arbitration. He has participated in more than thirty commercial and investment arbitrations across sectors such as engineering and construction, power generation, mining, transportation, software implementation, and telecommunications. He has represented clients under all major rules, including ICSID, UNCITRAL, and the ICC Rules, and has served as arbitrator and tribunal secretary in proceedings administered by these institutions. Before becoming an independent practitioner, Javier spent over ten years representing sovereigns and investors in leading international law firms. He currently teaches international commercial arbitration at HEC Paris and coaches the school’s team for the Willem C. Vis Moot in Vienna.
