Kabir is a Partner in the International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution practice at Clifford Chance in Singapore. He specialisesin complex, cross border disputes with a focus Indonesia, Thailand, India and the rest of South East Asia. His impressive client roster includes large multinational corporations, international banks and financial institutions with presence across APAC.
Kabir has almost 20 years’ experience as an international arbitration lawyer. He is valued for his excellent knowledge of the law and arbitral procedure, as well as providing deep strategic insight on the most complex cases. He has acted as counsel and arbitrator on numerous international arbitrations under the rules of SIAC, ICC, LCIA, HKIAC, MCIA and AAA, and has developed an active practice as arbitrator. Significantly, has attained the title of a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, which is an international standard of training acquired by professional arbitrators across the world. Kabir has been appointed as an alternate member of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (the "ICC Court"), for a three-year term. 1
