Karim M'ZIANI

Karim M’ziani is a Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), and the Registrar of the Mauritius International Arbitration Centre (MIAC), in Port Louis, Mauritius. Karim completed his law studies in France, China and Argentina. He undertook an LL.M. at Duke University, as a Fulbright scholar. As part of his scholarship, Karim focused his research on international arbitration in Africa. Prior to joining the PCA and MIAC, Karim worked at leading law firms in France, Argentina, and the United States on high profile State-to-State, investor-State, and commercial disputes involving parties from the African continent and beyond. He is admitted to practice in New York and Paris, and speaks English, French, Spanish, and Mandarin. Karim also serves as the Deputy Secretary General of the African Society of International Law.
