Liana CERCEL

Liana Cercel is an independent practitione, Counsel at Lexters, a boutique firm of local and international legal practitioners based in Romania. Liana specializes in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, with particular experience in jurisdictions including England & Wales, France, New York, Spain, and Romania. She is admitted to the New York bar, has a qualifying English law degree, and holds a master's degree in Transnational Arbitration and Dispute Settlement from Sciences Po, where she is currently teaching as a special advisor on professional development.

Liana has been involved in international commercial and investor-state arbitration experience on both counsel and tribunal sides. After working in several international law firms in Paris, she acted as tribunal secretary for Prof. Dr. Juan Fernández-Armesto in Madrid.

Liana is also the co-chair of the Young Romanian Arbitration Practitioners, the association currently representing over 90 Romanian arbitration practitioners under 40 worldwide.
