Matthew focuses on construction and commercial arbitration and litigation in the UAE and internationally. He has acted as counsel in numerous commercial and construction arbitrations, both ad hoc and under the rules of the major arbitral institutions, including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), Abu Dhabi Commercial Arbitration Centre (ADCCAC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), DIFC-LCIA, the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), and UNCITRAL.

Matthew is included and profiled in the Legal 500 Arbitration Powerlist 2023 for the Middle East. He is a Solicitor-Advocate qualified in England, a registered Legal Practitioner of the DIFC Courts, and conducts advocacy in international arbitration proceedings. He also sits as an arbitrator.
