Nikos LAVRANOS

Prof. Nikos Lavranos is first Secretary General of IFILA, founder of NL-Investmentconsulting; Guest Professor Leiden University.
He is an expert in investment law & arbitration who has expertise in advising, litigating, negotiating, drafting legislation and providing expert witness reports. His clients are both investors and States. He has extensive experience as arbitrator, mediator, legal consultant, academic and former policy maker and chief negotiator for Bilateral Investment Treaties.
Nikos is co-editor of the book: International Arbitration and EU Law (2nd ed., 2024, Elgar Publishing) and co-Editor-in-Chief of the European Investment Law and Arbitration Review.
He is listed as Arbitrator and Mediator at various arbitration institutions.
