Olim LATIPOV

Olim Latipov is an associate director at BRG, based in the firm’s Paris office. Mr. Latipov provides strategic advice and support to attorneys, companies, and governments on damages assessment and trade policy issues in commercial and investor state arbitrations. He has worked on cases covering industries such as construction, energy, mining, securities, commodities, pharmaceuticals, and civil aviation.

His background includes exceptional mathematical abilities demonstrated by winning national and international competitions. An Uzbek national, he has extensive experience with the transition economies of the CIS. Prior to joining BRG, Mr. Latipov worked as an economist at a leading global law firm, based in its Geneva office representing clients in complex, high-stakes disputes.

Before working in professional services, Mr. Latipov was an investment analyst for a leading investor in distressed debt in Eastern Europe, where he was responsible for analyzing and pricing distressed debt portfolios. He also has experience in transport infrastructure financing and economics, having served as a program officer at the International Road Federation.
