Professeur de Droit | Ancien Membre du Conseil supérieur de la magistrature (CSM)
Sandrine Clavel est professeure à l’université Paris-Saclay/UVSQ, doyen honoraire de la Faculté de droit et science politique, ancien membre du Conseil supérieur de la magistrature, et co-directrice du laboratoire DANTE.
Ses domaines de recherche, axés sur le droit international privé et le droit du commerce international, couvrent en particulier les contrats internationaux, le contentieux international (étatique et arbitral), l’éthique des affaires internationales (RSE, vigilance, droits des populations locales, développement durable). Elle a co-dirigé, pendant 13 ans, le Master Arbitrage et commerce international (MACI) de l'université Paris-Saclay, UVSQ.
Outre son activité académique, elle dispose d’une expérience institutionnelle – elle a notamment été membre du groupe de travail constitué pour réformer le droit français de l’arbitrage et membre de la délégation française ayant participé aux négociations de la Convention de La Haye de 2019 sur la reconnaissance et l'exécution des jugements étrangers – et exerce une activité occasionnelle de consultante en droit international privé et en droit du commerce international.
Elle est directrice de publication de la revue Perspectives contentieuses internationales.
Sandrine Clavel is a professor at Université Paris-Saclay/UVSQ, honorary dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, former member of the French Conseil supérieur de la magistrature (High Council for the Judiciary), and co-director of the DANTE research center.
Her research interests, focused on private international law and international trade law, cover in particular international contracts, international litigation (state and arbitration), and international business ethics (CSR, due diligence, rights of local populations, sustainable development). For 13 years, she co-directed the Master's programme in Arbitration and International Trade (MACI) at Paris-Saclay University, UVSQ.
In addition to her academic work, she has institutional experience—she was notably a member of the working group set up to reform French arbitration law and a member of the French delegation that participated in the negotiations of the 2019 Hague Convention on the recognition and enforcement of Foreign Judgments—and occasionally works as a consultant in private international law and international trade law.
She is the editor-in-chief of the journal Perspectives contentieuses internationales.

Her research interests, focused on private international law and international trade law, cover in particular international contracts, international litigation (state and arbitration), and international business ethics (CSR, due diligence, rights of local populations, sustainable development). For 13 years, she co-directed the Master's programme in Arbitration and International Trade (MACI) at Paris-Saclay University, UVSQ.\r\n

In addition to her academic work, she has institutional experience—she was notably a member of the working group set up to reform French arbitration law and a member of the French delegation that participated in the negotiations of the 2019 Hague Convention on the recognition and enforcement of Foreign Judgments—and occasionally works as a consultant in private international law and international trade law. \r\n
