Sarah Becker has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2013. Before co-founding VingtRue, she spent 10 years working at the law firm Gide and then at LPA-CGR Avocats within top-tier teams specialising in environmental law.

She advises a diverse clientele (including industrial companies, real estate and healthcare players, and project developers) on environmental law and contaminated land issues, providing support both in regulatory and contractual matters as well as in litigation before civil and criminal courts. She has developed particular expertise in managing environmental crises, environmental criminal law, and the environmental aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

Sarah also assists companies with their sustainability reporting obligations (vigilance plans, CSRD), and in anticipating and managing environmental risks, particularly those linked to climate change.

She regularly provides training in environmental law (e.g. remediation of contaminated sites, environmental criminal law, waste management, duty of care, and CSRD).

Sarah is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Law from Paris I/Paris II Universities and a Master’s degree in European Economic Law from Sciences Po Paris and the University of Strasbourg.

She is co-founder and member of the Executive Committee of the Fondation des Femmes and president of its support association.

She is also a member of Paris Place de Droit and the Interprofessional Environmental Law Circle (CIDDE).
