Soraya Corm-Bakhos, a French qualified lawyer, is one of the leading arbitration practitioners based in Dubai since 2008. After nearly twenty years of experience in international law firms, Soraya now dedicates herself to her practice as arbitrator. During her career in private practice Soraya advised clients in all types of commercial arbitrations under all major institutional arbitration rules in relation to a variety of industry sectors including energy, transport and infrastructure. Soraya has acted as sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator and chair in arbitrations mainly seated in the Middle East under the ICC, LCIA, DIAC, BCDR and ArbitrateAD in disputes related to construction, real estate, sale and purchase agreements, joint-venture disputes and general commercial disputes. She has been appointed to serve as a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. She has authored numerous publications in the field of arbitration.
