Tom CLAASSENS

Tom Claassens, partner, is a member of the Litigation & Risk Management practice in the Amsterdam office of Loyens & Loeff. He has more than 30 years of experience and is widely recognized and recommended as one of the leading Dutch lawyers in the field of arbitration and litigation. He represents clients in a broad range of disputes both in arbitrations proceedings (including ICC, UNCITRAL, SIAC and NAI) and in proceedings before Dutch state courts (courts of first instance and courts of appeal) as well as the courts of the Netherlands Antilles. He particularly assists clients with the enforcement or annulment of arbitral awards. Furthermore, Tom is a member of both the Advisory Board of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI) and the Executive Board of the Dutch Arbitration Association (DAA).
