William STERNHEIMER

William Sternheimer is the Manager for Training and Education at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and a Paris-qualified lawyer.

After beginning his career in international commercial arbitration at Gide, William held multiple roles with the CAS from Counsel to Deputy Secretary General. After ten years, William left to become a Parner with Morgan Sports Law, a sports disputes resolution firm, where he represented international athletes, clubs and federations.

William recently decided to return to the CAS to develop and supervise training programs for CAS arbitrators and mediators, and promote education about the CAS both in general and at an academic level.
