YUE ZHAO

Dr Yue Zhao is Deputy Counsel at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), where she administers international arbitration cases across various jurisdictions. She also assists with SIAC’s engagement in UNCITRAL Working Group II (Dispute Settlement) and III (Investor-State Dispute Settlement Reform).
She earned her PhD summa cum laude from University of Geneva, Switzerland. In addition to her role at SIAC, she serves as an associate editor for the Manchester Journal of International Economic Law and an assistant editor for the Kluwer Arbitration Blog.
She was closely involved in ICCA publications, including ICCA Report No. 5: Compendium of Chinese Commercial Arbitration Laws and Chinese case reporting in the ICCA Yearbook Commercial Arbitration for 2021 and 2022.
