Presentation

The revised French arbitration law was enacted more than 10 years ago. Since then, multiple challenges have emerged, that have significantly affected the resolution of international disputes and the expectations of the operators. At a time when a global reflection is underway to revise the English Arbitration Act of 1996, the time has also come to perform a critical review of the French arbitration law, its implementation over the last 10 years and analyse whether Paris remains at the forefront when it comes to arbitration. Our panel composed of practitioners of both sides of the Channel will share their thoughts and suggestions for the future.
