About us
La Chambre Arbitrale Internationale de Paris (CAIP) est un centre de médiation et d’arbitrage. Elle a pour principale mission d’organiser et d’administrer des procédures d’arbitrage et de médiation.
Elle a pour ambition, par l’exemplarité, de contribuer à promouvoir, à travers l’arbitrage et la médiation, des modes alternatifs de règlement des différends adaptés au monde des affaires, aux échanges économiques et à la vie des entreprises en général.
La CAIP a près de 100 ans d’expérience en matière d’organisation et d’administration des arbitrages et des médiations. Elle a administré plus de 40 000 procédures d’arbitrage et de médiation, touchant au commerce et à l’industrie, ce qui lui a permis d’acquérir une expérience significative dans le règlement des différends. Grâce à cette expérience, la Chambre est consciente des spécificités et des impérativités des opérateurs du commerce dans le règlement de leurs différends et a développé des règlements et une pratique visant à répondre à ces exigences.
L’expérience de la CAIP en fait une institution de confiance pour les parties. Des États, des entreprises publiques et privées, et de grands groupes commerciaux et industriels ont confiance en la Chambre et intègrent, dans leurs contrats, des clauses compromissoires et de médiation faisant référence à la CAIP
