100 years of arbitration proceedings run from Paris

The Sorbonne Law School and ICC France are celebrating the one-century anniversary of ICC arbitration.

The ICC Court of Arbitration was established in Paris in 1923. Since then, it has become the largest arbitration centre in the world. Organized under the aegis of the Sorbonne Law School and ICC France, this event aims both to take a retrospective and historical look at this institution and to assess its contemporary functioning, as well as its place in the globalization of trade and the ensuing commercial disputes.
