Dans le cadre de la Paris Arbitration Week 2023, l'équipe Arbitrage de Navacelle vous invite à participer à sa table ronde sur le thème « Corruption et arbitrage : La place de Paris en arbitrage est-elle menacée par la jurisprudence récente ? ».
Un panel composé de Madame Laura Weiller, Madame Ina Popova et Monsieur Bernard Hanotiau, débattra de la jurisprudence récente en la matière et de son impact pour la place de Paris en arbitrage international. Différents thèmes seront abordés tels que :
• Une analyse en droit comparé
• Les questions de preuve (évolution des indices pris en compte, droits de la défense, garanties procédurales etc.) ;
• Ordre public substantiel vs ordre public procédural : le risque d’instrumentalisation des allégations de corruption ;
• Ainsi que quelques pistes de réflexions sur l’avenir.
Cet événement se déroulera en français et sera suivi d'un cocktail.

For Paris Arbitration Week 2023, Navacelle’s Arbitration team invites you to participate in its round table on the following topic "Arbitration and corruption: will the recent French case law harm the position of Paris as preferred arbitral seat?"
A panel composed of Ms. Laura Weiller, Ms Ina Popova and Mr Bernard Hanotiau will discuss the recent case law in this area and its impact on Paris as the preferred arbitral seat. During this panel, different topics will be addressed, such as:
• A comparative law analysis;
• Evidentiary issues (evolution of corruption red flags considered by the Court of Appeal, due process, procedural guarantees, etc.);
• Substantive public policy vs procedural public policy: the risk of instrumentalization of corruption allegations;
• And some suggestions on what to consider going forward.
