Stéphane WOERTHER

Stéphane Woerther is a seasoned professional with over two decades of expertise in strategic and financial advisory within the energy, climate and infrastructure sectors. His career has been marked by a robust track record in the development and financing of energy projects, with a particular focus on transitioning to a low-carbon economy, primarily in emerging markets.

After spending 12 years in various roles at prestigious international institutions—ranging from earth system science at NASA, to power project development at ENGIE, and financial advisory at Lazard— he took the entrepreneurial leap to establish his own advisory firm.

He is now heading Energy Project & Climate Finance activities at FTI Consulting, from Paris, where he supports his clients in navigating and capitalizing on the transformative shifts occurring within the energy sector and the green economy.

In addition to his professional endeavors, he serves as a lecturer at several graduate schools. Here, he imparts practical knowledge and insights on project finance and M&A in the infrastructure and energy sectors. He also covers economic and financial aspects of climate change, employing an interactive teaching approach.
