African Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution est une organisation à but non lucratif d’excellence porté par des spécialistes résidant en Europe, en Afrique et au Canada engagés dans l’évolution des pratiques juridiques en Afrique. L’Institut œuvre pour renforcer la place du continent africain sur le marché du contentieux en droit des affaires et à accroître son attractivité auprès des investisseurs internationaux. Convaincu du rôle stratégique de l’arbitrage et des modes alternatifs de règlement des différends (MARD), l’Institut s’emploie à les promouvoir à travers l’ensemble de ses programmes et initiatives à but non lucratif.

Le succès et la crédibilité de l’arbitrage comme mode alternatif de règlement des différends reposent sur les mécanismes qui contribuent à l’exécution volontaire ou forcée des sentences arbitrales. L’exécution volontaire de la sentence permet aux parties de préserver la confidentialité de l’ensemble du processus d'arbitrage.\r\n
